I always love wandering around Home Depot and Armstrong Garden Center to buy flowers (of course!) and to admire their beautiful flower pot arrangements. I’ve always wanted to create my own and just finished my first! I would love to share with you how you can make your very own fall outdoor flower pot arrangements.
I am a blogger and gardener. I love sharing my ideas about gardening in small spaces and on a budget. To learn more about me, please visit my site http://gardeninglimited.com.
Hubby and I house sat for family inland this past weekend, which gave us the opportunity for another stay cation. Hubby has mentioned the Mission Inn Hotel to me before, and we were able to see the outside of it during last year’s festival of lights. Today I want to tell you all about the gardens of the Mission Inn Hotel.
It was too crowded to walk around the hotel during the lights festival last year, so it was nice to go during the off season when Riverside is still quiet. The hotel is a historical site, with impressive architecture and wonderful floral surprises hidden on every floor.
I love the slight change in weather and all those fall decorations this time of year. Something else I really love about autumn is all those pumpkin patches and pumpkins that are seen in many stores and street corners. Today I want to share with you several ways for you to decorate with mini pumpkins.
This past weekend me and my husband went to central California to attend my cousin’s wedding. Before we headed back down to Southern California, we visited the beautiful Hearst Castle. The castle itself is an incredible sight, but today I want to tell you all about the gardens of Hearst Castle.
Hearst Castle is located in beautiful San Simeon in central California. Its about a few hours drive north of Los Angeles/Orange County. Its a bit of a drive but well worth it, especially if you stay overnight.
Fall is just around the corner, so I’m trying to figure out how to pick the right shade plants. I have some space left to add some plants but with the seasons changing, my little balcony will soon be in shade most of the day. This is probably a good time to add shade plants to my garden. Keep on reading!
As I stated in my last post, I am planning on changing things up here at Gardening Limited. I am planning on adding other topics besides gardening. One of these topics will be about blogging. Keep on reading!
August is my birthday month. If you didn’t know already, the beautiful and hardy gladiolus is the flower for the month of August. So, in honor of my birth month and others born in August, I want to tell you all about the hardy gladiolus and how to care for them. Keep on reading!
I never thought much about types of succulent plants while growing up, since they all seemed ugly and sharp, from what I remember. I’ve noticed that many people include these desert plants in their gardens here in Southern California. Since getting into gardening, I have delightfully discovered that there are many types of succulent plants available.
Not all succulents are hard on the eyes and pointy, thankfully. Succulents come in many sizes, shapes, and colors. I have found a huge variety of beautiful succulents that grow well in container gardens.
