2017 is about to end and boy, what a year it has been! I’ve taught writing for 14 years, and earlier this year started my first blog. I would like to end 2017 by highlighting this new endeavor of mine by reflecting on my most popular posts of 2017.

A Written Past

I taught writing for many years and have written for fun in the past, but this year was my first year writing for a wider audience. There were many topics I could choose from, and I might still branch out to other topics in the future, but I initially started my blog to share my newfound love and adventures in urban gardening.

If you have been following me for a time, you also know I have plugged in some posts about blogging for beginners as well. I am planning on continuing that and have a few of those posts planned out for 2018. I’m still a beginner blogger and want to share what I have learned on this wild adventure so far!

Okay, I may have just bookmarked all of your posts! We live in a townhouse with artificial grass and limited space for gardening (plus an active toddler who likes to eat dirt) so the vertical garden and shelves would be pretty fantastic. I also have some succulents that just about died after winter descended upon us, so any tips that way are good.
